Anthony Bourdain Calls Paula Deen A Bad/Dangerous Cook

In an interview with TV Guide, Anthony Bourdain, the author, chef and star of No Reservations on Travel Channel, said some very nasty things about fellow celebrity chef Paul Deen.

After being asked who the worst people on the Food Network were, he slandered Paula, calling her:

“The worst, most dangerous person to America, for her artery-clogging style of cooking.”

And it gets worse! He dug  deeper into the good-natured old Southern belle by saying that:

“She revels in unholy connections with evil corporations, and she’s proud of the fact that her food is fucking bad for you…I would think twice before telling an already obese nation that it is okay to eat food that is killing us. Plus, her food sucks!”

Paula Deen has one of the top-rated shows on Food Network, with Paula’s Home Cooking. Her recipes almost always include chicken, butter and other fried items, plus she makes a lot of vodka concoctions.

Some of her recipes include, “Shrimp And Chocolate Tortilla Soup,” “Fried Bacon Mashed Potatoes,” “Paula’s Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich” and “Fast And Furious Thai Chicken Pizza.” MMMMMM!

No one is disputing that the majority of her food isn’t healthy, but it is not Paula Deen’s responsibility to help America lose weight. Kind of like how no one should judge Bourdain for eating seal eyeballs off the floor or devouring squirrel potpie as if they were kettle corn.

Paula, with her electric-blue eyes and generous grandma-attitude retorted a few comments of her own regarding Anthony, to Fox And Friends

“I was actually kind of shocked considering I’ve never met Anthony…I know he’s never been to my home; I’ve never cooked for him. I don’t think he’s been to my restaurant. I was really shocked that such harsh words could be used.”

She continued,

“I don’t know if it was a publicity thing of if someone had just peed in his bowl of cereal that morning and he was mad…Anthony, dear, I’m so sorry you feel that way. I too am put in that position, I’m asked questions that could really get me in trouble, but I wiggle my way around them because some things are best left unsaid. Listen, come to my house, I’ll cook you a meal and if you still feel that way about me, so be it…I’ve been around long enough to know to choose my battles, and that ain’t one of them.”

Bourdain received floods of criticism after his hateful words and began Tweeting odd things like:

And, in reference to being called names:

Hmmm, MAYBE you deserve it.
