‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ Trailer

I think most people my age and older have a stronger connection with J.R.R. Tolkien‘s The Hobbit than they do with The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy and that is because it is the first time they were introduced to Bilbo and Frodo and because it is the easiest to read, which helps when you’re 11.

I’m even more excited about Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey than I was about The Fellowship Of The Ring, though I’m still upset about the loss of Guillermo Del Toro as director and producer. (He’s now credited for a fraction of the screenplay)

The trailer looks…moody, and promising. Keep in mind that this movie, like Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows and Breaking Dawn, is being split into two parts. The first will be released next December and the second, The Hobbit: There And Back Again, exactly a year later, in 2013.
