Britney Spears’ Favorite Songs Of The 80s

Britney Spears Tweeted that she was thrilled with the new Vevo setup and that she had made her own personal list of favorite 80s songs including vanilla classics like “Billie Jean” and “Straight Up.”

1. Salt-N-Pepa – “Push it”
2. Robert Palmer – “Addicted To Love”
3. Michael Jackson – “Billie Jean”
4. Kim Carnes – “Bette Davis Eyes”
5. Duran Duran – “Hungry Like The Wolf”
6. Dan Hartman – “I Can Dream About You”
7. Corey Hart – “Sunglasses At Night”
8. Cyndi Lauper – “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”
9. Paula Abdul – “Straight Up”

VERY weirded out that there’s no Madonna on here since she always used to list her as an all-time favorite. Oh well. Who’s interested in hearing Britney sing snippets of ALL these songs? Just me?

[Random fact: When asked if Britney Spears would involved in X-Factor, Simon Cowell coyly mentioned that one judge is a “very famous singer” and the other a “very famous actress”]

  1. I read somewhere that Britney Spears twitter account is a fake account. That they have a ghostwriter. Now whether that’s true or not I don’t know. But you cannot have listened to music in the 80s and not have a Madonna song in your top 10 favorite list. Ain’t going to happen.
