Nicki Minaj deleted her Twitter account on Monday after her fan page, Nicki Daily posted leaked music. Upon visitation the website now redirects to Nicki-Minaj.org. Her last Tweets showed her irritation over the matter:
“Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good fucking bye” and “Exactly. Posted leaked music *deletin Twttr” after a fan said “NickiDaily kno why they got blocked.”
I don’t want to sound like a snob but this sounds like a ridiculous temper tantrum over something that just isn’t that big of a deal. I understand being aggravated over your “fans” posting illegally released music but deleting your account and disappointing your millions of followers doesn’t seem worth it.
Also. LEARN TO SPELL. This is why I hate about Twitter, more than the obvious reasons of it being a place to put your personal life on blast. The character limit encourages abbreviations. I struggled to copy all the mistakes in Nicki’s last Tweets. #SnobProblems
Twitter has also led to unnecessary hashtagging, a plague I can’t seem to shake. At least we know Ms. Minaj will be back soon. She can hardly stay away from a platform that she is so used to contributing to.
What a way to crap on the people who made you famous! I will not bu her music no more…. Ever…………
