Shakira And Usher Replace Christina Aguilera And Cee Lo For Season Four Of ‘The Voice’

Did you hear that? It’s the sound of me crapping my she-wolf pants. Shakira is temporarily replacing Christina Aguilera as a judge on next season of The Voice, with Usher sitting in Cee Lo’s seat.

HOWEVER, Aguilera and Cee Lo will return for season five (Blake and Adam are staying), as they are simply on a hiatus to work on new music.

“We are thrilled to welcome Usher and Shakira to ‘The Voice,’” NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt said in a statement. “Doing two back-to-back cycles of this show requires a tremendous amount of time, and we are happy to accommodate the commitments made by Christina and CeeLo.”

And I’m happy because my third favorite pop singer of all time  is going to teach people to make their hips, not lie, on national television.

“With all the talented voices out there in the world. Other raising stars could benefit from my mentoring. #Teamusher…who’s with me? URIV.”Usher
