“Now everyone is a critic. I don’t read blogs. It’s just God-knows-who in Buttfuck, wherever writing hate shit,” Aguilera said. “You can’t take it seriously. I’m sure you’ve all been hated on at some point by buttfuck people.”
Now this is a Christina I can get on board with. Swearing up a storm, connecting favorite adult swears (“fuck”) with words that make children laugh (“butt”) and throwing a “shit” in for good measure.
She’s right, you can’t take blogs seriously, just like you can’t take song titles like “Woohoo,” “Desnudate” and “Sex For Breakfast” seriously. Haters be hating, and those are all tracks from Bionic, so clearly I’m living in the buttfuck past.
This woman is an innovator. She’s about to release a new album and is interested in getting back into acting. At the same event, she told reporters:
“I want it to be honest and genuine in expanding my wings and doing something really, really different. A crackhead on the street or a drug addict.”
How about a drunk lady who falls down the stairs and forgets the lyrics to the National Anthem? If she wants to do “something different” she could always try wearing a dress that fits.
Lotus track list:
“Army of Me”
“Red Hot Kinda Love”
“Make the World Move” (featuring Cee Lo Green)
“Let There Be Love”
“Sing for Me”
“Around the World”
“Best of Me”
“Just a Fool” (featuring Blake Shelton)
Happy 10th birthday to Christina’s memorable, Grammy-winning album, Stripped. Tumblr threw a party.
