Two And A Half Men has regrettably been on since 2003, and one of its stars is fed up with the fame and the $350,000 per-episode check.
Angus T. Jones, the half-man who plays Jon Cryer’s son, is denouncing the show because of God, and television being bad for your brain.
“If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men and I don’t want to be on it,” 19-year-old Jesus Jones aka Jake Harper explains in a video for Forerunner Christian Church (their website has a fascinating “about” section, explaining the lord’s interest in real estate).
“Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television and especially with what you watch on television … it’s bad news,” he goes on to say in a pretty clear plea with the network and producers to be fired [like Charlie sheen].
Nine years seems like a long time to be on a show and then realize that satan is somehow involved (maybe it was the Miley cameo?). I shouldn’t say “somehow,” because it won Emmys…
That is absolutely the devil’s work, but I’d be more excited if his absence was sure to equal cancellation. He’ll be replaced, probably by that buff kid from Jerry Maguire.
Now that he made all that money, and grew up ugly, now he wants to preach and complain. Just like [Kirk] Cameron. It’s always the ugly ones that go full born-again. The pretty ones usually just go broke and become republicans.
