Jeffrey Ross Dresses Like Joe Paterno, Makes Aurora Massacre Joke

Instead of dressing up as Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky at the Comedy Central roast of Roseanne Barr, he wore the glasses of Joe Paterno.

The veteran insult comedian who was recently named the host of a half-hour show called The Burn with Jeff Ross, has stepped it up. He wore nothing but a leather jacket and revealing black underwear to 2010’s David Hasselhoff roast.

On this year’s getup, he cleverly told the Hollywood Reporter“If they’re offended by what they see, they can do what Joe Paterno did – look the other way.”

I Don’t Want To Live In A World Where It’s Legal For Ted Nugent To Own A Gun

Those who are confused by anyone in support of proposing stricter gun control laws have one memorably nonsensical thing to say: “give everyone a gun and we’ll be safe, dagnabbit!”

Like Ted Nugent, singer of “Funk U,” and notorious collector of animal skins and camouflage cowboy hats. On Twitter, he writes:

“We pray for all victims&loved ones of demonshooter in CO& we SALUTE the brave warriors who saved lives IF only they would hav had a good gun.”

He also defends James Holmes’ right to have an assault rifle by denying its existence. “There were no assault weapons used in the CO shooting only universally proven sporting & self defense firearms & 6k rounds aint squat. lies.”  Continue reading “I Don’t Want To Live In A World Where It’s Legal For Ted Nugent To Own A Gun”

Dane Cook Makes Joke At Expense Of Colorado Shooting Victims And ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Dane Cook made me laugh in his Comedy Central Presents special from 2000. Since then, I chuckled at the movie Waiting… which he is in, though it was mostly at Anna Faris. He was also surprisingly okay alongside Kevin Costner in Mr. Brooks.

I haven’t thought much about Dane Cook since Mr. Brooks except that when Daniel Tosh made that crappy rape joke at the Laugh Factory I heard he was lurking in a shadow somewhere nearby.

Now that Cook is making untimely jokes about the Aurora theater shooting I can no longer ignore his existence as a formerly overrated comedian who was finally getting the amount of attention he deserved (barely any).  Continue reading “Dane Cook Makes Joke At Expense Of Colorado Shooting Victims And ‘The Dark Knight Rises’”

Christian Bale Is Capable Of Being A Nice Guy

Christian Bale popped up unannounced to visit five victims of The Dark Knight Rises shooting at the Medical Center of Aurora on Tuesday, all sweet and low-key in jeans and a t-shirt.

He spent two and a half hours at the facility, and snapped photos with several of the victims and some of the employees as well. One, Carey Rottman (left) posted the photo on Facebook.

“The patients were really happy to meet Bale,” hospital president Bill Voloch told reporters. “They are obviously big fans of his movies. They wanted to see Batman and were really pleased to see Bale.”

James Holmes, Spacing Out In Court

It’s really amazing how websites like News Track India are now calling James Holmes “a deeply disturbed individual.”

You didn’t realize it after you heard about the 71 victims? I mean what details did you need to come to that conclusion besides the bare bones of the story?  He had guns and tear gas. He killed people. Of course he’s disturbed.

On top the obvious – calling himself “The Joker” and reportedly spitting all over his solitary confinement cell – you can see it in his face during his first court appearance.  Continue reading “James Holmes, Spacing Out In Court”

Aurora Theater Gunman Asks ‘Will You Visit Me In Prison?’ On AdultFriendFinder

There are a lot of chilling things happening in the case of Colorado shooter James Holmes.

Firstly, a 22-year-old writer named Jessica Ghawi who was among the 12 that did not survive Friday’s massacre, previously lived through a mall shooting in Toronto.

Second, the Gangster Squad trailer that was shown to audiences at the Century 16 in Aurora has been pulled due its brief depiction of a mass shooting inside a movie theater.

Third, several sources have confirmed that an AdultFriendFinder profile belonging to James Eagan Holmes is authentic. It was created on July 5 with the user name “ClassicJimbo” and contains the message “Will you visit me in prison?”

Does anyone actually believe that this guy randomly went off the deep end and accidentally wandered into the theater with four guns and ballistic armor?  Continue reading “Aurora Theater Gunman Asks ‘Will You Visit Me In Prison?’ On AdultFriendFinder”

Neuroscience Student Kills 12 ‘Dark Knight’ Audience Members, Has Millions Talking Gun Control

Almost everyone who considered going, or did go to a midnight showing of Batman this morning just experienced a spine-tingling moment of silence and selfish relief.

At around 12:30 a.m., a 24-year-old UC Denver student wearing ballistic armor and a gas mask named James Eagan Holmes brought a machine gun to a Century theater in Colorado and killed 12.

Over fifty of the people in the Denver suburb of Aurora were injured, mostly from gunshot wounds, though some suffered chemical burns from what the police called a “smoke device.”  Continue reading “Neuroscience Student Kills 12 ‘Dark Knight’ Audience Members, Has Millions Talking Gun Control”
