Bacon Sundaes Arriving At U.S. Burger King

Bacon sundaes are coming to Burger King. This is what I’ve been waiting for all my life, which will be short-lived once I get my hands on one of these.

The item, which is made with vanilla soft serve, fudge, caramel, and thick-cut bacon will be added to their American menu in wide release for summer.

It has 61 grams of sugar, 18 grams of fat and contains 510 calories. Is it sad that that’s not as many as I expected?

When I read this news, I thought I was going crazy because I was positive that Burger King already had a bacon sundae but I was confusing this with Jack In The Box’s 773’s calorie bacon milkshake. Other new BK menu items will include sweet potato fries, pulled-pork sandwiches and frozen lemonade.  Continue reading “Bacon Sundaes Arriving At U.S. Burger King”

Burger King Menu Looks McFamiliar

Yesterday was a big day for fast-food-chain-of-the-past Burger King. No less than twelve menu items were added, which is the greatest amount since its opening in 1954.

Clive Owen’s Spanish Burger King Commercial

Yeahhh, Clive Owen is promoting Burger King in a new dubbed commercial that is neither funny enough or serious enough. It’s not shocking in any way shape or form that Owen, a respected actor, would appear in a silly foreign commercial.

Jennifer Aniston, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Willis, Nicholas Cage, and Meg Ryan have all done it, whether it was Heineken, handheld gaming devices or energy drinks. I just don’t understand if this ad is going to air in America or Mexico or South America or Spain or what? There is no information on this, and I am very upset.

No More Creepy Burger King Commercials

Now that Burger King is attempting to trick people into thinking their menu is “healthy” by introducing more salads and wraps and other items that taste no different from the cardboard they come encased in, they are getting rid of their memorable mascot and his eerie commercials!

The creepy Burger King king in the big furry pimp coat and gold chain is no more! For now at least.

The company cites the change in their menu and advertising, to USA Today, as a lean towards targeting moms instead of teens. Hmmmm.

This Monday a new item, the California Whopper will be available at all locations. The hamburger was previously only attainable in four states and three Scandinavian countries. Supposedly the California Whopper is chalk-full of guacamole and the usual genetic mutations of fast-food vegetables.

Alex Macedo, Burger King’s senior marketing VP, said there are “no plans to bring the King back anytime soon.”
