Kevin Roper in court Tracy MorganAn incident where an 18-wheeler slammed into comedian Tracy Morgan’s limo bus – killing one and severely injuring Morgan, his opening act, Ardie Fuqua and tour manager – has sparked a debate on sleep-deprived drivers.

It was reported that the man behind the wheel of the semi was driving for at least 24 hours without pulling over on the New Jersey Turnpike, one of the most heavily traveled highways in the U.S.

According to the Institute of Medicine, nearly “20 percent of all serious car crash injuries in the general population are associated with driver sleepiness.”

Fatigue has very similar effects to alcohol consumption, and it has often been argued that the reaction time for an inebriated person and a sleep-deprived person are about the same.

If Nicki Minaj Was President, She Would ‘Legalize Illegal U-Turns’

Nicki Minaj Jay Leno 2013 In a late Monday interview on The Tonight Show, Nicki Minaj talked to Jay about her days as a drama student at LaGuardia High, revealed her thoughts on Mariah (sarcastically calling herself “the biggest fan”), and her extreme disdain for traffic laws.

Minaj explains that in the perfect city of New York people turn around in the middle of the street without hesitation or consequences. Los Angeles, not so much.

I am a very aggressive driver… it just means that you get irritated by people driving slow.

Lindsay Lohan Arrested For Hit And Run, Surveillance Video Proves Her Accuser Exaggerated

It appears that Lindsay Lohan for once, did nothing wrong, or almost nothing.

Following an arrest Wednesday morning for allegedly hitting a pedestrian in New York, TMZ acquired footage of the incident, which shows that Lohan either grazed the back of the accuser’s leg, or didn’t hit him at all.

“While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing.
