Ke$ha is in Rehab, But Not For Drugs or Alcohol

Kesha bodySo I know I’ve said all kinds of slightly disrespectful things about Ke$ha before, but I actually think she’s a really underrated pop songwriter of tunes catchier than all the crabs in the pants’ section of the used clothing store.

Back to the “news” part. Turns out, Ke$ha is taking a little break from everything and heading to a rehab facility in Chicago for the neither pills nor booze nor cocaine that you would expect from someone whose motto seems to involve nothing but playing hard.

“I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I’ve found it hard to practice,” Ke$ha said in a statement to Celebuzz.  “I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder… to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am.”

Amanda Bynes: ‘I Have An Eating Disorder So I Have a Hard Time Staying Thin’

Amanda Bynes eating disorderFor months people have been scouring Amanda Bynes‘ tweets, wondering which mental disorder she has. “Sources” pointed to bipolar and schizophrenia, but Bynes herself has revealed the answer.

From a Thursday night Twitter rant:

I’m suing certain blogs and magazines saying I have a mental illness! They take pictures anytime I’ve gained weight then write a fake story!

I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin.

They write a news article about every tweet I write and I hate the pictures they choose. They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo.  Continue reading “Amanda Bynes: ‘I Have An Eating Disorder So I Have a Hard Time Staying Thin’”

In Topless Allure Issue, Keira Knightley Says She Used To Want To Hide Her Body

Keira Knightley addresses rumors that she had an eating disorder in Allure Magazine.

My favorite British person (Bend It Like Beckham is my go-to sick day movie) seems fine now, but says the pressure to not be thin was almost too much for her.

I may relate to this because I was accused of starving myself nearly every day in High School, sometimes while I was eating. Thank god I filled out to the size of a Macy’s Day float at age 17.

“I knew I wasn’t anorexic,” the star of the upcoming Anna Karenina said. “But maybe my body is somehow not right. Or my face is not right. Or the way I speak is not right. When you’re going through a period where you’re really getting a lot of criticism, you go, ‘Maybe all this is right!’ You just kind of want to hide it all.”  Continue reading “In Topless Allure Issue, Keira Knightley Says She Used To Want To Hide Her Body”

Demi Lovato Is Not Fat, Idiots

I barely know who Demi Lovato is. I know she’s a Disney starlet type, like Miley Cyrus or Selena Gomez? She is an ex-girlfriend of Joe Jonas, along with Taylor Swift and Camilla Belle.

I don’t know a single one of her songs but she kind of reminds me of a younger version of that ex-American Idol judge, umm Kara DioGuardi?

What I do know is that this girl is not fat or large or remotely overweight. On Sunday, Demi, 19, came under fire for apparent weight gain during and after her appearance (left) at the VMAs.

This is particularly disturbing considering she was in a treatment facility for bulimia and self-injury in October 2010 and was released in January of this year.
