Jennifer Lawrence For W, October 2012

Jennifer Lawrence looks ethereal in W Magazine’s October issue. The editorial is avian-themed, featuring The Hunger Games star holding and posing next to various birds, including a flamingo and a white peacock. Inside the magazine, she talks candidly about her career.

Disliking the L.A. lifestyle: “Sadly, I cannot live in Los Angeles anymore. I don’t understand how actors can do it. You have no life here. You are followed everywhere. It’s not like that anywhere else in the world. I don’t want to stay in L.A. and start thinking that’s reality – because it’s very far from normal.”

Getting naked and blue in X-Men: First Class: “There was a moment where I thought I was going to have to paint my face and Skype with the director, and I said no. The first test where they painted me blue took around eight hours of makeup. I would stand, lean, or sit on a bicycle seat naked while they painted me. I have no modesty left after X-Men – I had blue in places I didn’t even know existed.”  Continue reading “Jennifer Lawrence For W, October 2012”

Megan Fox Ran Out Of Feet To Put In Her Mouth

This isn’t a post about Foxy having a foot fetish or anything, it’s about the very silly things she says in interviews.

Megan recently told Jalouse magazine“I live well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl.”

Shhhh, just shh. Of course you wouldn’t trade places with us dusty street urchins, you’re just not supposed to talk about it. I guess your mother, Anastasia Drizella Fox, never told you.

I hope the baby that you are rumored to be carrying isn’t ugly, and that you are never forced to switch places with it, in some kind of Freaky Friday-for-egomaniacs spinoff.

Oh man, these Jalouse pictures are strange. Maybe Google Translate is just being wonky but I made out something about dueling personalities and the word “dickmatized.” No joke, you try it.  Continue reading “Megan Fox Ran Out Of Feet To Put In Her Mouth”

Leighton Meester’s Dark Past And Bright Future

Leighton Meester’s upbringing reflects the opposite of her uppity and entitled character on Gossip Girl.

In a way it must be even more rewarding to be viewed as a fashion-forward socialite, she was after all, born into a family with a heavy criminal record.

In the April 2012 issue of Marie Claire Meester reveals her family history, her views on marriage and her Hollywood beginnings.

All in all she may be the most surprisingly sensible young actress you can imagine, especially considering her background.  Continue reading “Leighton Meester’s Dark Past And Bright Future”

Sofia Vergara For InStyle, April 2012

Sofia Vergara seems like the busiest woman alive. Pepsi spokeswoman, Modern Family vixen, movie star and upcoming host of Saturday Night Live‘s April 7 episode with musical boy band guest One Direction.

On top of all that, she does her fair share of interviews and editorials, the most recent is with InStyle – on hating math and water and having a makeup fixation.

Her favorite mindless TV show: “I watch ‘Revenge.’ It’s a soap opera but so classy – and everyone is beautiful.”

On School: “I always hated Math. The moment I run out of fingers, I can’t count anymore.”

The perfect date: “A great date? Dinner and a movie. Or sports, watched in the venue, not on TV. No canoes. No water. Nothing to mess up the hair.”  Continue reading “Sofia Vergara For InStyle, April 2012”

Kate Beckinsale For Harper’s Bazaar Russia

Kate Beckinsale may be the franchise face of Underworld but she’s also a face of fashion who can wear virtually anything. The sort of British mannequin in the same category as Victoria Beckham, only Kate’s an action star instead of an unconventional soccer mom.

I know these Underworld movies don’t mean much to the average joe, but in the nerd world they are a horrifyingly big deal. Underworld: Awakening seems to be about Selene’s efforts to stop a new breed of Lichen (werewolves) that are only slightly smaller than King Kong.

Beckinsale covered Russian Harper’s Bazaar for their January 2012 issue and told earlier in December that she had no intentions to repeat the leather-clad vamp role.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley For Harper’s Bazaar UK

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was virtually unknown before her big break in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, which, funnily enough she had to learn to drive for. (Acting classes are another story)

Now she’s returning to her modeling roots in the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK wearing Michael Kors, Alexander Wang and Bottega Veneta swimsuits plus Burberry, for which she is the face of.

The editorial is called “Valley Of The Dolls,” and the magazine features two covers, photographed by Tom Munro. She told the U.S. edition in Nov. that she was once an “Ugly Betty” until her “transition” period at 18.
Soon after, she scored a modeling deal with Victoria’s Secret.
