Video: Florence + The Machine – “No Light, No Light”

Is this already the third single from Florence And The Machine’s Ceremonials? Time flies when you have red hair. “No Light, No Lights” is co-written by her keyboarding Machine bandmate Isabella Summers, who also co-wrote five tracks from Lungs.

As you can see, the video is a meaningless yet somehow spiritual foray featuring a crazy shirtless vooding candle convulser and a children’s choir to balance it out. That is some convincing falling though, and running.

Video: Florence And The Machine – “Shake It Out”

Hard-working Florence Welch has already released a second song and video from her CD Ceremonials that is due November 15th, 2011. The video was directed by Dawn Shadforth (“Special” by Garbage, “Ooh La La” by Goldfrapp)

Welch describes the track as, “One of those songs that came in about half an hour and when you’ve got a hangover, it is almost like a hangover cure. You’re like, thank you!”

Florence + The Machine Sophomore Album Details

The highly anticipated second album from Florence Welch and her machine, Ceremonials, is due out on October 31 (Halloween!) in the UK.

From the song titles, stuff like “All This And Heaven Too,” the name of the LP seems to really fit. It seems very spiritual, but not preachy, I’d assume. The red-headed Bohemian fairy would never do that to me…

Video: Florence + The Machine – “What The Water Gave Me”

A music video has been released for Florence + The Machine’s beautifully stripped-down “What The Water Gave Me,” from her upcoming album, the follow-up to her 2009 debut Lungs, due November 7th.

The still untitled album new was recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios and produced by Paul Epworth, who not only worked with Florence in the past but also Adele (21) Friendly Fires, Cee Lo and Kate Nash.
