Emma Stone is the Nicki Minaj of Lip Syncing

Crazy adorable ginger (and only reason to ever step foot in a theater showing Amazing Spider-Man 2) Emma Stone decimated the competition over at The Tonight Show with her mouthed renditions of the equally challenging “Hook” by Blues Traveler and DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win.”

Fallon’s dance moves didn’t stand a chance against Emma, whose lips and arms were moving so fast that audience members in the front row witnessed some of her freckles bouncing off her skin and into their laps.

I never thought I’d see John Popper and Ludacris proud on the same day…

WATCH: Lip Sync Battle W/ Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Merchant (of The Office and Extras fame) smother us with a pillow of cuteness in a new video courtesy of NBC’s Late Night.

It doesn’t matter if you care about lip syncing. In terms of musical fakery, this will make you like it the way Air Guitar Nation made you like a half-naked Asian dude with a front-facing Hello Kitty backpack.

JGL wins hands down with his adorably exact and theatrical dub of “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj.

Beyonce Blames The Weather In Press Conference About Lip-Syncing

Beyonce super bowl press conferenceWhen you’ve been hired to perform at the biggest, most watched sporting event of the year, you have the power to call a press conference for the sole purpose of proving a point.

Yesterday, Beyonce walked into a room full of reporters with “Super Bowl XLVII” and the Pepsi logo emblazoned in lights behind her and said “Hello, how is everyone? Would you guys mind standing?”

You would be correct in guessing that a slightly rushed version of the National Anthem came after.

I guess the whispers of deceit and even the question of how much air her lungs can hold after the Inauguration lip-sync scandal finally got to her. Afterwards she said this:

Kardashians Cover Biggie’s ‘Hypnotize’

One of the most shocking moments in my young life came in the form of a harmless walk in the woods behind my house. I had taken to lifting rocks in the hopes of examining interesting bugs, usually ants or the occasional red centipede.

On this comfortably cool summer day on the Oregon Coast I lifted a particularly large rock and discovered a nest of baby snakes. They startled me mostly because there were so many and they moved so quick and pointlessly.

When I see the Kardashian-Jenner family I am reminded of that day. This is a group of creatures that never stop working, but for what cause I do not know.  Continue reading “Kardashians Cover Biggie’s ‘Hypnotize’”

New Scientific Discovery: Chris Brown Lip-Syncs (How Astonished And Heartbroken Are You?)

Pink wrote on her Twitter while watching Chris Brown at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, “One day if I lipsync i hope i do it as well as him…” Then, “i stand behind, always have and always will, LIVE SINGING.”

While her opinion might mean just a tiny bit more if she used capitalization, she brings up a valid point. But why are people getting fired up about this just now, when he’s been doing it his entire career?

For the Grammys earlier this year I’d written that he is a “non-singing dancing dummy-on-shitty-Michael-Jackson-strings,” and that will always be true.  Continue reading “New Scientific Discovery: Chris Brown Lip-Syncs (How Astonished And Heartbroken Are You?)”

Cosplay NERDS Lip-syncing to P!nk

Last month, at London’s annual comic-con event at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, a bunch of costume-wearing, comic book-reading, video-game playing hobos got together and lip-synced to Pink’s “Raise Your Glass.”

Watch, Malfoy, The Joker, Black Cat (Spiderman), Wolfenstein Zombies, Jack Sparrow, Baby Doll (Sucker Punch), Batgirl and Spiderman, plus more…

I think Pink would be proud, but this is pretty embarrassing to watch.

Why so serious? I’m not, I’m laughing with my eyes dude, get it right.

New Cee Lo,”Cry Baby,” Featuring Urkel

“Shhhhh, I’m Cee Lo Green.” Says Jaleel White in Cee Lo’s new video, released today.

Yes that’s actor behind Steve Urkel of Family Matters, the ultimate one-dimensional glasses/suspenders wearing nerd. Mouthing the words to Cee Lo’s new single “Cry Baby.” And he dances too, I guess.

I’m not sure what Cee Lo has against singing his own songs in his videos, as he had this same technique for half the “Fuck You” video, but it’s a catchy song. Not sure I love the video, let it play in the background. Don’t look at it.

Fatty boom boom.
