Rooney’s Lisbeth Salander Is A Girl Who Plays With Uncertainty

Fans of the American remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo directed by David Fincher and starring a wonderfully transformed Rooney Mara who are expecting a sequel may be out of luck.

On its generous budget of $100 million (the equally great Swedish version cost $13 million and brought in over $100 million), GWTDT suffered a modest loss, according to MGM.

Stars Pay Tribute To Etta James

Etta James touched the lives of many artists, some obvious (Beyonce, Adele) and some not so much (Flo Rida) before and after she lost her battle with Leukemia.

Kelly Clarkson covered “I Go Blind” at Radio City Music Hall four days ago and Adele sang “Fool That I Am” at Somerville Theatre in Massachusetts after learning her idol was ill on January 14, then took to her blog to comment on the loss.

Kirstie Alley Lost 100 Pounds, Looks Great

Kirstie Alley, 60, after a tumultuous struggle with her weight, revealed to ET that she’s finally reached her goal.

The Cheers/Fat Actress shared that she’d lost a whopping 100 pounds and is very happy with her size 6 body.

“I feel like I’m back in my element. I honestly didn’t even realize what I looked like.”

She even strutted out on the catwalk at NY Fashion Week during Zang Toi’s fashion show at Lincoln Center.

I always was of the opinion that there was something inherently unhealthy about Kirstie’s Alley’s face when she was overweight.

Not necessarily that she looked “bad” simply because she’d gained weight in her body…
