Clive Davis is in the News a Bunch for Being a Heartless Queen

Clive Davis Kelly clarksonClive Davis and Kelly Clarkson’s feud is a little confusing. Here are the facts… Davis, CEO of Clarkson’s record label RCA, wrote a memoir called The Soundtrack of My Life. In the memoir, the 80-year-old producer credited for kickstarting the careers of talented acts like Whitney Houston, paints Kelly as an overly emotional twit with terrible instincts.

Specifically, he says Kelly was “hysterically sobbing” in his office because she hated what turned out to be the most successful songs from her 2004 sophomore album Breakaway.

Clarkson remembers it differently, writing an open letter on WhoSay about how Davis called her a “sh*tty writer” and told her to “just shut up and sing” after she performed the very personal “Because Of You.”

The Best Excerpts From ‘Who I Am: A Memoir’ By Pete Townshend (Mick Jagger’s Wang)

Legendary The Who guitarist Pete Townshend was subjected to a four-month investigation by the police after they learned that he paid to access a child pornography site in 2003.

In his new book, Who I Am: A Memoir, Townshend explains that he typed “russian orphanages boys donations” (for charity) into his web browser and was horrified by the results.

“I used my Barclaycard once on a site with a button that (rather ridiculously) said ‘Click here for child-porn.’ The charge was $7, which I immediately cancelled, not wanting even this small charge to benefit banks and credit-card companies that allowed the transaction in the first place,” he said of the research he swears he was doing for an essay on his blog in 2002.  Continue reading “The Best Excerpts From ‘Who I Am: A Memoir’ By Pete Townshend (Mick Jagger’s Wang)”

Joey Buttafuoco’s ‘Closure,’ Better Or Worse Title Than Ex-Wife And Mistress’ Books?

This is the one time you’ll be wishing Joey Buttafuoco DIDN’T have debilitating health issues.

The mechanic whose “charm” caused his mistress, 17-year-old Amy Fisher, to shoot his wife in the face in 1992, is writing a book about the events that took place 20 years ago.

The notorious statutory rapist was inspired to write the memoir, titled Closure, after he almost died of diverticulitis (pouches of stool trapped in the intestinal lining) in December of 2011.

Maybe he can answer some important questions like “why did Mary Jo Buttafuoco wait until 2003 to file for divorce?” and “how on earth were TWO women in the state of New York interested in you?”

Amanda Knox’s $4 Million Dollar Book Deal

In December 2011 Knox and Sollecito (who has a memoir of his own on the horizon) were released from jail after four years because of a lack of “reliable” evidence.

Her representative, Robert Barnett, is the very man who scored Barack Obama and Sarah Palin their book deals. As far as numbers go $4 mill isn’t as crazy as it sounds.
