Video Games With Pooping Horses Exist Now

Metal gear solid phantom pain horseAs time goes on, we expect our games to more closely resemble our own lives. Like Playstation’s version of the virtual reality headset Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus, and the first game with horses that relieve themselves on the go.

The public got a glimpse of amazing sequels to Battlefield, Dragon Age, Tomb Raider, Halo and Uncharted at this year’s E3, but the most interesting to the habitually immature has to be Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

The Phantom Pain features its protagonists riding through the Afghanistan desert, and the game’s so damn realistic that the horses take random dumps “in real time.”  Continue reading “Video Games With Pooping Horses Exist Now”

Announcements from the Metal Gear Solid 20th Anniversary Celebration

The Metal Gear Solid series has long been one of the most “cinematic” franchises in the history of video games, and at this year’s 20th anniversary of the game, series creator Hideo Kojima has announced that they are partnering with Columbia Pictures to produce a Metal Gear Solid movie.

The military inspired, tactical stealth action series has seen 5 full fledged entries and several spin-offs, most of which have featured heavy handed and convoluted stories with double and sometimes triple plot reversals.

Honestly, with all of the deep back story of this game and the lack of player interaction (one of the series’ hallmarks) it’s going to be difficult for them to pull this one off.

This news isn’t particularly fascinating however, because talk of a film adaptation of this series has been buzzing around Hollywood for a very long time and nothing has come to fruition.
