Howard Stern Doesn’t Think Natalia Kills Should Have Been Fired

Natalia Kills Howard SternAmerican’s Got Talent judge Howard Stern has weighed in on the Natalia Kills / Willy Moon firing over at The X Factor New Zealand.

Like the rest of the United States, Stern and Robin Quivers barely knew who Natalia was (Quivers accidentally called her “Natalie”). Stern thought Natalia and her husband went too far, but didn’t agree with them being fired because “they asked for her opinion.”

“They were outrageous,” Stern said. “They made a personal attack on a guy who didn’t deserve it. I felt the two judges were just a**holes.”  Continue reading “Howard Stern Doesn’t Think Natalia Kills Should Have Been Fired”

Natalia Kills Gets Half-Naked and High For ‘Trouble’

Natalia Kills Trouble stillHot off the release of her second album, Natalia Kills’ latest video is like “We Found Love,” “Love The Way You Lie” and maybe an episode of Skins: full of partial nudity, drug use and general hot-girl-on-ugly-guy mischief.

Kills, famous for her high ponytail and uptempo jams like “Free” (“Wanna be like Midas, but my bank account is minus”) and “Mirrors” from her first effort Perfectionist, usually sprinkles her songs with more than a hint awareness of irony, setting herself apart from the Katy Perrys of the world.

In “Trouble” Natalia’s romance with a hooligan is chronicled, starting with a filthy apartment and a make out session steamier than your vegan friend’s broccoli casserole. Kills (born Natalia Cappuccini), drags her boytoy into a bar where he gets into the inevitable fight which ends with her crying in the rain, plus car sex, plus HOLY SHIT I THINK SHE KILLED HER BOYFRIEND. Again. Continue reading “Natalia Kills Gets Half-Naked and High For ‘Trouble’”

Semi-Obscure Pop Playlist #1 (Oooh Girl)

I’m assuming you all like pop music? And I’m guessing you’re sick of what’s on the radio so I thought I’d type up a quick list of uber pulpy organic juice for your sad ginger winter skin to soak up.

1. Nicola Roberts – “I.” Former Girls Aloud member gone Lily Allen solo, but 100% higher (pitched) and 200% more annoyed at England’s paparazzi.

3. Dev – “Take Her From You.” Pregnant “In The Dark” pop star + pro-bodybag dragger.

4. Natalia Kills – “Love Is Suicide.” Most underrated “Perfectionist” pop of 2010, 12 and 13.

5. Grimes – “Oblivion.” Circumambient Canadian helium/Rooney Mara-bangs expert Claire Boucher.

6. Lights – “Toes.” “Best New Artist” Juno-winner Valerie Anne Poxleitner.

Natalia Kills “Mirrors” Unplugged

Perfectionist, the truly perfect Natalia Kills debut is now out in the U.S., so no more weird import copy on Amazon!

The pop mastermind (she deserves to be the next Lady Gaga) recently celebrated her birthday (along with Madonna, Frances Bean and Belinda Carlisle) and is currently touring with Katy Perry.

Natalia Keery-Fisher, 25, did some lovely acoustic versions of a few of her songs (like “Wonderland”) at her CD release party on the top of New York’s Atlas Hotel.

Girl can sing.

This Year’s “Poker Face” is…

“Mirrors” by the sensational Natalia Kills (fast forward the beginning a tiny bit to get to the juice)…

OR

The even more electro-tastic “Notorious” by British girl-group The Saturdays? I can’t decide. I think “Mirrors” is more similar but they’re both AMAZING pop songs that deserve more attention.

What’s the verdict?

Natalia KILLS IT, Whispers To Recession… Tweets Like Crazy

Wanna be like Midas
But my bank account is minus

Gotta stretch that dollar bill
Stretch that dollar
Need a genie in a bottle
Change a quarter to a hundred
Gotta stretch that dollar bill
Stretch that dollar bill

I’m free
I just spent all my money
But I rocked that like it don’t cost a thing
Free
Burned a hole in my pocket
But I rocked that like it don’t cost a thing
