The First Episode of ‘Bates Motel’ Was INSANE

If you haven’t seen the season 2 premiere of Bates Motel then only read further if you’re a spoiling sack who reads the last pages of books and told every Game of Thrones viewer in advance about the Red Wedding and those late to the Friends and Dawson’s Creek bandwagon that Monica and Chandler get together and that Joey and Dawson never do.

Anyway – despite having the curse of being based on one of the best horror movies of all time and appearing on the Regal First Look – Bates Motel was really surprisingly great last year and the episode “Gone But Not Forgotten” proved that it’s still great in 2014.

The Bates family are up to their usual hijinks after the not-so-mysterious death of Norman’s teacher.

Trailer: Transformers: Age of Extinction

Oh. My. God. They made another Transformers movie and it’s full of robot dinosaurs, Mark Wahlberg running, and the yellow-haired chick Norman stalks on Bates Motel.

Like Megan Fox before her, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been phased out of Transformers: Age of Extinction in favor of Nicola Peltz, best known as Katara from The Last Airbender and Bradley Martin in BM.

I’m sure if one of these actresses would just give Michael Bay a pity handjob they’d keep that role…

Kate Winslet (center) wore a dress designed by Stella McCartney at the Venice Film Festival in September that tricks the eye in an effective yet strange way. Regardless of it looking like undergarments for female members of Federation Starfleet, the “illusion” kinda works.

The dress uses dark portions of colors contrasted with light or cream-colored sections for instant waist-thinning joy. So, when you see Kate from far away you go “Hey, that lady is skinny, what are her secrets?…”
