Ladies Of ‘The Talk’ Take Off Their Faces…

The five hosts of The Talk made history on Monday when they taped an entire show completely bare-faced, without makeup, wearing only robes and towels.

“We really are girlfriends and because we feel safe with each other, we’re willing to show more of ourselves to the public,” explained show creator Sara Gilbert.

I missed the show because Andy Murray’s U.S. Open win interrupted my DVR settings, but I did see clips and photos later.

If Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Sheryl Underwood, Julie Chen and Aisha Tyler were having a contest to see who looked the best without even a hint of concealer, beloved Girl On Guy podcast-founder and Archer star Aisha Tyler would prevail.  Continue reading “Ladies Of ‘The Talk’ Take Off Their Faces…”

Taylor Swift Looks Underage Without Makeup

Taylor Swift floated through LAX early yesterday morning looking like a J-Crew kids model with not a stitch of makeup on.

I love that she’s the one rail-thin celebrity who doesn’t have eating disorder comments thrown her way. Blame it on youth and great genetics.

What is that she’s carrying, a keyboard? The clarity of her skin makes me think it’s a min-coffin full of age-defying cream, lotion and green tea face masks.

Oh, and maybe a jar of souls, you know, because everyone has secrets.  Continue reading “Taylor Swift Looks Underage Without Makeup”

Ke$ha’s Ballsy Dirt-Free Glamour Shoot

The fact that a Glamour employee called their Ke$ha piece “There’s a real girl underneath all that glitter” thrills me beyond belief. What did they expect to find after they grazed her through the facial wipe car wash? Dust?

What they did discover under the glitter and scarfs was a nice set of teeth and a few freckles that they originally confused for dirt.

On top of these shocking facially-stripped pictures she talked to the magazine about her nude house parties, plans to resurrect rock music, oh and balls. Continue reading “Ke$ha’s Ballsy Dirt-Free Glamour Shoot”

Snooki With No Makeup! Still Looks Chilean Volcanotastic

Any excuse to write about Snooki and I am there like hair on a Skyrim mammoth. Random unrelated Skyrim question – why can you not collect the pelt of a mammoth? If the game lets you take the fur from rabbits, foxes, bears, wolves and more then why not medieval elephants for Azura’s sake!??

Back to Snooki, who has about as much to do with Skyrim as I do with relevant, intelligent journalism….She snapped two pictures of herself with not a stitch of makeup on and looks great, better in fact than when she slaps on fake Charo eyelashes and green eyeshadow.

Lady Gaga Sans Makeup For Harper’s Bazaar

For the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar Lady Gaga was photographed au naturel by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

We’ve already seen this look, a glimpse in the “Bad Romance,” and “You & I” videos not to mention her fashion-film series, also promoting “You & I.”

It’s something we are not used to. In general just when someone wears makeup all the time and you suddenly see them without, it can be a mild shock.

She looks like a member the Brady Bunch. (Not a bad thing at all)

Gaga shrugs off surprise at the recent nude-faced photos, saying,

“I don’t really view it as ‘natural.’ I think that artifice is the new reality. It’s more about just being honest and sincere to the core of what you do. Whether I’m wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I’m always the same person inside.”
