Britney Spears Fired Herself From ‘The X Factor’

Britney Spears pink dress x factor 1Today it was announced that Britney Spears removed herself from The X Factor before Simon Cowell canned her and her cans for delivering the wrong kind of crazy.

As much as I love her I don’t think I’ll miss the polite clapping and three or four-word comments like “I really enjoyed it” or “You’re a diva!” (in a positive context).

Come on. This is no surprise. We knew from the get-go that this was a one time thing. Britney was paid $15 million to make faces and walk out and wave with Demi in the beginning of the show for a few months…

Steven Tyler Breaks Up With His Mistress, ‘American Idol’

After two years of watching amateurs sing, American Idol judge Steven Tyler is departing from the show to do what he does best. No, not breaking gender boundaries and confusing people who have poor eyesight – being a frontman!

He released a statement yesterday saying he wanted to focus on Aerosmith.

“After some long…hard…thoughts…I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress American Idol before she boils my rabbit,” he said. “I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I’m back.”

J-Lo and Randy Jackson may also not be returning but there has been no confirmation either way. Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Will.i.am Katy Perry, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are rumored to be eyeing the position(s).  Continue reading “Steven Tyler Breaks Up With His Mistress, ‘American Idol’”

Andy Samberg Officially Not Returning To SNL For Season 38

Andy Samberg told The New York Times that, like Kristen Wiig, he will also not be returning to Saturday Night Live for season 38, which starts back up in September.

“It’s an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life, obviously it’s not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back,” he told a reporter via telephone. 

While he said it felt like one of the hardest decisions he’s ever made he also mentioned it being his time. “Something about it just feels like it’s the moment.
