These ‘Healed’ Snake Bite Photos Are Still Traumatizing

Steve Rankin 1You may have seen Man Vs. Wild producer Steve Rankin‘s highly disturbing snake bite photo the other day. Well, the image tweeted by Bear Grylls now has an explanation and two sequels.

Rankin wrote that the snake, a Fer-de-Lance pit viper, lunged at him from under a fallen tree, poisoning him through his boot.

“It took about 2 hours to get to hospital. I hobbled, was carried and choppered to San Jose. Lucky it was so quick,” he said after someone on Twitter asked about his treatment.

Here’s the first, gross-yet-fascinating post-surgery photo of his zombie foot:  CLICK for eye-burning pain…

Man Vs. Wild Producer’s Foot Skin Removed By Vicious Reptile

Bear Grylls man vs wild I’ve looked at the photo Bear Grylls shared with his Twitter followers of his producer’s snakebitten foot multiple times, mostly because I was warned not to by all the websites that covered it.

And it’s still so gross. Grosser than Kevin Ware’s leg bone and slightly less gross than the legless Boston marathon bombing victim. Yet I’m intrigued by all these sick wounds because I’m a sad freak. Or maybe I was a doctor in another life. Or a sadist. Sadist doctor.  Click for picture…

Jack White Collaborated With ICP??!

I think this is a joke, this is a joke right? Well joke or not, Jack White and white-boy cult favorites Insane Clown Posse have teamed up for a song. It will be available to purchase on Jack White’s label, Third Man Records on September 13th.

OR you could just listen to the song, and decide, like I did, that it is the most unusual and unnecessary combination of people EVER since Eminem and Elton John shared a stage at the Grammys.

Not only is it produced by Jack White with ICP “rapping” it’s Jack White + an ICP Rap + rock-duo JEFF The Brotherhood + a Mozart melody?
