Trailer: Transformers: Age of Extinction

Oh. My. God. They made another Transformers movie and it’s full of robot dinosaurs, Mark Wahlberg running, and the yellow-haired chick Norman stalks on Bates Motel.

Like Megan Fox before her, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been phased out of Transformers: Age of Extinction in favor of Nicola Peltz, best known as Katara from The Last Airbender and Bradley Martin in BM.

I’m sure if one of these actresses would just give Michael Bay a pity handjob they’d keep that role…

Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers Teaming Up Again

Nile Rodgers of Chic in ManchesterGood news for hardcore Daft Punk fans, and also people who just heard of them for the first time recently when “Get Lucky” was released. So everyone. Just…everyone listen.

The robots have more awesomeness to send our way, and it’s in collaboration with none other than “Get Lucky” partner Nile Rodgers. This time, however, Rodgers is bringing Daft Punk on board with him, and featuring the electronic duo on some upcoming material.

New Documentary ‘The Mechanical Bride’ Is A Non-Fiction ‘Lars And The Real Girl’

Allison de Fren’s documentary, The Mechanical Bride, focuses on the men who turn to the socially taboo – non-human “women” who are the creations of men and used as their (often sexual) companions.

Call them real dolls, fembots, robots, blow-up dolls, mechanical brides, Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, it’s all loosely the same thing. A phenomenon that has to do with both control and a person’s lack of certain skills that would allow them to easily meet people.  Continue reading “New Documentary ‘The Mechanical Bride’ Is A Non-Fiction ‘Lars And The Real Girl’”
