The New ‘Evil Dead’ Trailer Could Almost Make a Hardcore Horror Fan Cringe

Evil Dead demonNon-horror and horror fans alike have at least heard of the Sam Raimi’s 1981 directorial debut, The Evil Dead. Most would call its self-deprecating cult classic sequels, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, more memorable.

All starred Bruce Campbell as animated corpse-slayer Ash Williams, and all had moments of black comedy.

Trailer: Oz The Great And Powerful

Take James Franco’s hard-to-miss face, Mila Kunis’ unmistakable voice, Sam Raimi’s notoriety and a $200 million dollar budget and you’ve got Disney’s Oz: The Great And Powerful.

Guess How Many Frankenstein Movies Are In The Works?

At least six! Though Interview Magazine and AV Club report that the number is closer to eight.

And guess how many have been made in the past? 48! Since 1910.

Some very big names in Hollywood and some not so big, are involved in upcoming Frankenstein movies.

The list includes Guillermo Del Toro, Tim Burton, Shawn Levy, David Yates (Harry Potter 5),  Sam Raimi and Max Landis.
