Why Do People Put Things There?: A Question Not Even ‘Sex Sent Me to the E.R.’ Can Answer

Kinky role-playing ends up in the emergency room. There is a television show on TLC called “Sex Sent Me to the E.R.” This episode stuck in my mind because of the previous post from a book titled “Stuck up.” Stories like these make me wonder why people feel the need to put very odd things in places they don’t belong.

A Canadian couple by the name of Jason and Michelle decides to role play. She a princess and he was a fire breathing dragon. Handcuffs were involved in this role playing (I am unsure why a dragon would handcuff a princess), and the keys ended up in her vagina (like you didn’t see that coming). This event ended with them in the emergency room, and MORE bad news.

At first the couple pretended not to know what was wrong hoping the doctor would find through an exam. Whenever something bad happens to me that I’m embarrassed about, I think “it can be worse.”  Continue reading “Why Do People Put Things There?: A Question Not Even ‘Sex Sent Me to the E.R.’ Can Answer”

Latest ‘My Crazy Obsession’ Subject is a Mermaid, Man

my crazy obsession mermaid
In the second season of TLC’s My Crazy Obsession, a sort of spinoff of My Strange Addiction, we meet a young man who dedicates his life to being a mermaid.

What does being a mermaid, or merman, involve? For Florida-native Eric Ducharme, it’s all about sitting in a pond natural spring with a shimmery custom-made tail and diving under water.

Future and past episodes have focused on people obsessed with celebrities, Raggedy Ann, Christmas, rats, Cabbage Patch Dolls, and carrots.

Blaque Singer and ‘Bring It On’ Star Natina Reed Dead at 32

Natina Reed of the girl group Blaque (“As If,” “Bring It All To Me”) died on Friday night after being struck by a car on a highway in Georgia.

Reed, who has a 10-year-old son with rapper and former executive VP of Death Row Records Kurupt, played the extra tiny, extra funky cheerleader on the rival team of Kristen Dunst’s squad in Bring It On.

Natina was a protegé of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Blaque opened for TLC during the FanMail tour and were signed to Lopes’ company, Left Eye ProductionsTMZ reports that the driver who hit her stayed on scene and called 911. There are no charges pending.  Continue reading “Blaque Singer and ‘Bring It On’ Star Natina Reed Dead at 32”

‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ Kid Gets TLC Spinoff Show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’

I never watched Toddlers & Tiaras, for the obvious reasons. Not only is it about child beauty pageants, but it’s a one of the strongest examples of society aging children with makeup, ball gowns and bikinis. And, what do we know about this?

The more you encourage children to grow up, the higher the odds that they will become regretful teen parents to more children with the attention span of mice and an inclination to repeat the vicious prostitot cycle.

The parents are usually to blame. And that applies to the new show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo

I don’t blame 6-year-old Alana Thompson. But, upon watching the promo, I don’t know if I can blame her mother (June) and father (“Sugar Bear”) either.  Continue reading “‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ Kid Gets TLC Spinoff Show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’”

Yes ‘Virgin Diaries’ Is Real, Watch The Preview

I think TLC, short for “the learning channel,” used to house less disturbing shows. Currently it is the home to Sarah Palin’s Alaska, Sister Wives, I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant and Toddlers & Tiaras. A new show has graced TLC’s new program listings – Virgin Diaries.

It’s not hard to believe that the people in a show about abstinence before marriage and even a couple who had never kissed before their wedding are virgins. They all have a certain look to them, not like they’re hideously ugly but you can sense their lack of social skills from about 10 miles away.
