Fake kidnapping in Washington?

Jesse and Jason holden kidnappingJesse and Jason Holden (cousins) ran into Sequim’s Carrie Blake Park,  snatching a young boy. They ran the boy into a van and sped away while worried parents chased after them. Little did the parents know, this was all a set up. The mother of the child, Shellie Baskins, was waiting in the car for her child to be brought to her from the “kidnapper.” They later met up with a police officer who was previously informed that this act was going to happen and that it was to raise awareness for child abduction.

Only the people who were involved in the fake kidnapping and the few police officers were aware. Afterward, the cousins returned to the park to explain what there were trying to do. Everyone was outraged at the least.

The cousins and the mother were later charged with disorderly conduct. The trail dates have not yet been determined but the trio could be charged up to 364 days in jail or a $5,000 fine.

Huffington Post and other websites report that it could take months, possibly even a year, for 21-and-overs to legally buy pot.

Here’s a statement from CO governor John Hickenlooper:  Continue reading “Marijuana Legalized In Colorado and Washington, Marriage Equality For Maine and Maryland!”

Crazed Female Fan Sinks Piranha Teeth Into Danny Bonaduce

Redheaded child star turned beefy ginger hulk reality D-lister/radio personality Danny Bonaduce made an appearance in a Washington casino last Friday where he was greeted by one very sharp-toothed fan who had to be removed by force from his freckled flesh.

“First lady in line says ‘I love your radio show. I loved you on the Partridge Family. Can you kiss me?’ And I said, ‘Sure,'” and she leaned in grabbed both hands around my head and just went WAAA [indicates to face],” Bonadouchey told CNN.

“They were tiny little Chucky teeth. Man, they just gnawed like piranhas,” he said. “People are trying to pull her off me … I’m screaming like a baby.”  Continue reading “Crazed Female Fan Sinks Piranha Teeth Into Danny Bonaduce”

Drive-Through Starbucks In Washington Is Not What You’d Expect

A Starbucks in Tukwila, WA is making waves for innovation, of all things, because it is made of recycled shipping containers.

Its structure consists of four extra-large crates, one 20-footer and three 40-footers. This is one of many steps the company is taking towards a greener approach.

Tony Gale, the head architect for Starbucks says, “We were able to open our minds to the use of very common elements destined for the landfill as structure for a high-quality, drive-thru coffeehouse design – essentially creating an industrial beacon for sustainable thinking.”
