iTunes match isn’t available to the public yet, but it’s slated to be one of the next big things for Apple…
It will allow users to store their iTunes music library (even songs NOT purchased through iTunes) in iCloud and sync them later with your iPod, iPhone, iPad or Mac/PC.
Here’s their little ad-hook from their website –
“If you want all the benefits of iTunes in the Cloud for music you haven’t purchased from iTunes, iTunes Match is the perfect solution. It lets you store your entire collection, including music you’ve ripped from CDs or purchased somewhere other than iTunes. For just $24.99 a year.”
The ridiculous thing about this service IS that it costs $24.99 a a year! I know twenty five bucks isn’t that terrible but it should be free for Mac users at least, as if we don’t already have to pay out the ass just to have pretty, virus-free computers.MISS.
I know I haven’t used it, but I’m not going to ’cause it costs money. So it’s a miss.
Just back up your music or wait till someone makes a free version of this.
thanks for this news…
