The DeLorean Will Make A Comeback In 2013!

DMC (DeLorean Motor Company) is officially back! On Friday they debuted a model of the cult classic 80’s automobile to spectators at DMC’s Open House Event in Humble, Texas.

The best thing about the new Delorean – which will be available for the steep price of $100,00 – is that it will not be reliant on fossil fuel. DMC worked on the truly futuristic car for four years. It is 100% electric and boasts top speeds of 125 miles per hour…

Toby Peterson, a DMC franchise owner, is thrilled that the company is finally back after a disastrous financial slump that put them out of business in 1983. (The first DeLorean came out in 1981)

Peterson says, “There are a lot of people who grew up and watched the series of ‘Back to the Future’ movies over and over again. I think a lot of people like DeLoreans because it takes them back to a simpler time.”

[The new and improved DeLorean will also include an iPod dock and full navigation system! Spicy]
