A promising day in LBGT history was made when Miss Universe president Paula Shugart and contest co-owner Donald Trump allowed Jenna Talackova, a post-op transgendered Canadian woman, to enter the pageant.
GLAAD petitioned hard for the woman to be allowed to compete and for her case to be reviewed, after she was disqualified last month due to a rule that entrees must be born women. Shugart says:
“We want to give credit where credit is due, and the decision to include transgender women in our beauty competitions is a result of our ongoing discussions with GLAAD. We have a long history of supporting equality for all women, and this was something we took very seriously.”
Last week Talackova, a resident of Vancouver, said: “I am a woman, I was devastated, and I felt that excluding me for the reason that they gave was unjust. I have never asked for any special consideration. I only wanted to compete.”
…And you will! And so will transgendered women of the future. Like me! And Tilda Swinton. Sadly, Tilda and I would never beat Jenna, she’s actually super hot, I’m struggling to find male attributes.
Dear Kirk Cameron: God makes mistakes. He made one when he created you, and when he gave this woman a penis.
At least she is skinny! Most guys like those fat american types, Glad I’m a lesbian and dig my sknny girls….
