Lady Gaga Explains Why She’s Better Than Die Antwoord

Lady Gaga just proved that she has next to no sense of humor about herself and thinks she’s better than artists who sell fewer records and tickets than her.

When addressing a recent, admittedly outrageous video (called “Fatty Boom Boom”) by South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord featuring a Gaga drag queen in a meat dress with a bug in her/his vagina and an epic death involving a lion, the real LG wrote:

“i fink u freaky but you don’t have a hit. hundred thousand tickets sold in SA,” referring to her tour dates in South Africa.

Die Antwoord fired back with a witty Tweet of their own. “lady… even tho u r ‘larger’ than us… we still cooler than u… plus we don’t have prawns in our private…” HAHA. So much burn.

Word of advice to Gaga, when you’re as successful as all hell, best to shut the fuck about it. Maybe then you’ll look like less like an egomaniacal “fame monster” and more the “better person.”

Everybody loses because cool people don’t say they’re cool.

Die Antwoord do however belong on a short list of innovative artists with interesting music videos.

If you’re going to say anything, compliment the creativity and make a joke about not having a prawn in your beefsteak. Or just retweet the video to your fans and let them try to tear DA a new one?

You’re shaping up to have as much class as your son-flashing idol Madonna.

  1. HAHA so she has to explain it, huh? Gaga is an old hag.

Look at this jpeg from some new album cover or something SHE’S COPYING YOLANDI

    1. I don’t think she can stand being less unique than them. This is what happens when you throw people you admire in a blender and drink the contents.

What do you think?
