Chick-fil-A Doesn’t Exist In Oregon, But I’d Eat There If It Did

If you were to walk up to me last year to tell me that gays and supporters of the gay community would be uniting against non-supporters over a chicken restaurant, I would have told you to shut the hell up.

That’s what’s happening and I rarely say this, but I’m sick of hearing about it.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee dubbed August 1st  Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day while others rallied against the company’s CEO after he expressed his “traditional family values” in an interview with Baptist Press.

A Million Moms Vs. The Urban Outfitters Catalog

Urban Outfitters has come under fire by a group that would be completely irrelevant if we (me included) could stop helping them enter the spotlight.

I’m talking about One Million Moms, who have in the past rallied over use of the word “bitch” in the ABC show reviewed below, “pornography” in The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Ellen DeGeneres appearing in JC Penney ads.

Lately they’re upset over two women kissing in the latest Urban Outfitters catalog. A message on their websites reads:

Add Kirk Cameron To The Long List Of Anti-Gay Windbags

Growing Pains actor Kirk Cameron jumped into a kettle full of scalding water when he spoke out against gay marriage on Piers Morgan, calling it “detrimental” and “destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization.”

Later, Piers was asked about his guest’s comments and he said that Cameron was “brave” and “honest” though many people would call it an “antiquated” view. Which it is. Here’s an exact Kirk Cameron quote from CNN:

“Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life till death do you part. So I would never attempt to try to redefine marriage.
