The 9-year-old Beasts of the Southern Wild actress clutched a puppy purse on the red carpet, telling Ryan Seacrest she chose her adorably adult Armani dress because it was “sparkly and fluffy.”

The two times clips of Beasts were thrown on the monitor during the ceremony, she flexed her tiny muscles like her character in the “I’m the man” scene of her film and smiled a broad and innocent smile more infectious than bird flu.

During a live Tweet of the Oscars, satirical publication The Onion decided it would be funny to call her the c-word. Because… shock value?

Elton John Calls Madonna ‘A Fairground Stripper,’ Uses C-Word (Career, And That Other One)

Elton John spoke out against his former friend and recent arch nemesis Madonna to the Australian news show Sunday Night, bashing MDNA and its accompanying tour.

“She’s such a nightmare. Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger cunt,” he said during a backstage interview with Molly Meldrum.

“If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly. But no, she had to go and prove…she looks like a fucking fairground stripper. She’s been so horrible to Gaga.”

Why A Certain Word Isn’t As Offensive As You Think

On Thursday, my third favorite female jokester after Kathleen Madigan and Wanda Sykes called in to the Nick And Artie Show, which is one part Stern sidekick Artie Lange and one part comedian Nick DiPaolo, to promote The Celebrity Apprentice.

“Promote” is not the word I was looking for, because while Lisa Lampanelli is a cast member on the show, which premieres February 12, she also told a story about NBC giving her bad seats at a Knicks game. The thing that really interested me was her explanation of a certain word, the one women find most offensive. And no it’s not “bitch.”
