Rihanna For British GQ, December 2013

Rihanna snake cover gq Rihanna joins acclaimed art director Damien Hirst for British GQ’s 25th anniversary issue all decked out in snakes looking like a voodoo queen sidekick of Angela Bassett in American Horror Story: Coven. (DID YOU SEE her sitting on that elaborate throne playing Solitaire on an iPad?)

Rihanna’s interview from the December edition of the magazine isn’t available yet, so here are some quotes from her recent sit-down with Glamour.

On being bullied / developing a thick skin: “I got teased my entire school life. What they were picking on I don’t even understand. It was my skin color. Then when I got older, it was about my breasts. But I’m not victimized – I’m grateful. I think those experiences were strategically put together by God for the preparation of being in the music industry. It’s so easy for me to deal with the bullsh*t now.”

A Prequel To ‘Magic Mike?’ Sure, Why Not

While I find the idea of an origin story for people with names like “Big Dick Richie” unnecessary, I’m sure the millions of women who saw Magic Mike will disagree. Turns out, there probably is going to be a second movie for those of you who were left “wanting more.” Channing Tatum told UK Glamour, “We’re working on the concept now, we want to flip the script and make it bigger.”

Here’s the part where I say, wait? Magic Mike had a script? But I didn’t see it and I figure there’s a story in there somewhere. In June, Joe Manganiello told Hollywood.com“We’re actually talking about the possibility of doing the prequel. Because if you do the sequel, then you lose Mike.” Continue reading “A Prequel To ‘Magic Mike?’ Sure, Why Not”

Ke$ha’s Ballsy Dirt-Free Glamour Shoot

The fact that a Glamour employee called their Ke$ha piece “There’s a real girl underneath all that glitter” thrills me beyond belief. What did they expect to find after they grazed her through the facial wipe car wash? Dust?

What they did discover under the glitter and scarfs was a nice set of teeth and a few freckles that they originally confused for dirt.

On top of these shocking facially-stripped pictures she talked to the magazine about her nude house parties, plans to resurrect rock music, oh and balls. Continue reading “Ke$ha’s Ballsy Dirt-Free Glamour Shoot”

‘Breaking Dawn’ Was Almost Rated R

Kristen Stewart posed for UK Glamour’s December issue and previously U.S. Glamour November, where she was amputated by people who must’ve failed their Adobe Photoshop-specific graphic design classes.

She told the British mag that Breaking Dawn was almost given an R rating for its steamy Pattinsquatch sex scene:

“It was so weird, it didn’t even feel like we were doing a scene within a Twilight film. I was like, ‘Bella! What are you doing? Wow! What is happening here?!’ It was very surreal. We got rated R, They recut it.”

Kristen Stewart’s Glamour Magazine Doily Dress

K-Stew is the face of November’s Glamour Magazine, wearing only combat boots and her grandmother’s doily.

Stephenie Meyer, the Pacific Northwestern Mormon queen of fictional vampire pregnancies and tall sweating werewolves, conducted the interview – which taught us who Kristen prefers to watch Twilight movies with.

“It’s fun to watch with [Taylor] because we actually sit and watch it, me and Taylor are actual ‘Twilight’ fans, so we can sit there and be totally into it! Whereas I sit there with Rob [Pattinson]…he likes it, but he has just such a different energy.”

Yeah. Llamas are fun to watch TV with, so much more cuddly than big-haired Brits with quidditch brooms in their asses. By the way, want to hear Kristen’s relationship advice?…
