1. Drake. Toronto-born Aubrey Graham had a great run on Degrassi: The Next Generation. His storyline as a popular jock-turned paraplegic was iconic. After his character, Jimmy Brooks, is shot by bullied outcast Rick in season four (2004-05) ratings were boosted and the show gained national attention for their careful and realistic depiction of a school shooting.

Though Graham’s Brooks had musical aspirations and attempted to showcase his rapping skills on television, no one could have predicted that he would become a platinum-selling megastar, onetime Rihanna love interest, musical guest on Saturday Night Live and close personal friend and Cash Money labelmate of Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Wayne. Unflattering Paul Wesley (Of ‘Vampire Diaries’) Pictures

The cast of the CW hit The Vampire Diaries are currently on the cover of Entertainment Weekly looking spicy in their own unique have-you-seen-my-baseball ways. Paul Wesley in particular.

It’s not entirely his fault, though I do notice that he is famously unphotogenic everywhere I see him. Even through decently big-budget television cameras he has a slight case pigmy syndrome.

Nina Dobrev  from Vampire Diaries (left) was mistaken for Entourage’s Emmanuelle Chriqui (right) at the 63rd Primetime Emmy red carpet.

Christina Ricci is making her millionth career surge in the upcoming ABC 60’s pilot/stewardess show Pan Am AND in Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Star, with Nick Swardson.

Completely separately, Nina Dobrev of Degrassi and Vampire Diaries was not only at the VMAs being shown in cut scenes as if she were the top cat in town, but was recently featured on the cover of Rolling Stone with two of her Vampire co-stars…
