Trailer: The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Sony made their point completely rebooting Spider-Man just five years after Spider-Man 3 and we let it slide because 1) we had no choice and 2) we hoped the sequel would be better.

While this trailer does make The Amazing Spider-Man 2 look better than it’s predecessor, I question if it will be better or equal to Spider-Man 1 and 2 with Tobey Maguire.

Marvel’s villains continue to fail in comparison to DC’s, as Jamie Foxx’s Electro looks as silly and non-threatening as The Lizard and Sandman from Marc Webb AND Sam Raimi’s interpretations but the new, grittier Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan, In Treatment) may just save the film.

Shailene Woodley ‘Too Normal’ to Play Mary Jane in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2?’

Shailene Woodley Spiderman set The Spider-Man series found their new Mary Jane Watson in Oscar-nominated actress Shailene Woodley of The Descendants and ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager back in October 2012. After the newly ginger actress was seen walking around the set on Monday without makeup, the discussion of whether or not she’s right for the part resurfaced.

Disappointed nerds on i09 called her “plain,” “wholesome” and “not leggy enough.” Others said 16-year-old Chloe Moretz would have been a better choice and compared Woodley to K-Stew and Beaker from The Muppets.

“She looks like Channing Tatum in a wig,” one frustrated Collider reader wrote.  Continue reading “Shailene Woodley ‘Too Normal’ to Play Mary Jane in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2?’”

If you’ve ventured onto the internet in the past few months or been to the movie theater you have likely seen a preview for the new Spider-Man movie (out July 3) starring real-life couple Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.

Here’s an extended preview of the movie, shown during America’s Got Talent on Monday (it’s just more of that bridge scene).  Continue reading “Trailer: The Amazing Spider-Man (4 Minute Preview)”

The Amazing Spider-Booty Starring Andrew Garfield

I’ve been looking at stills from the yet-to-be-released Amazing Spider-Man movie starring Andrew Garfield (The Social Network, Never Let Me Go) Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Sally Field and of course blonde Emma Stone.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this is the most bootylicious, potentially-gay Spider-Man movie that I have ever seen, I hope Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have as much chemistry in the movie as Andrew Garfield and wardrobe piece #1, the Spider-Man suit.
